“I am excited to join the NCI team in serving the Martinsville, Henry County community with innovation and excellence. Martinsville is my hometown and ignited my vision to pursue higher education in the field of computer science and engineering. It was here that I learned about post-graduate possibilities thanks to the relentless effort of family, teachers, and high school counselors. School and community collaboration ensured awareness, access, and transportation to college fairs, which broadened those possibilities. High school and university partnerships such as Virginia Tech’s Upward Bound program then allowed me to envision myself on a college campus,” LeGrant said.
She added the “position provides me an opportunity to pour back into the community that nurtured my career journey to this point. I aim to leverage my experience in technology to help drive NCI forward, ensuring we not only keep up with industry advancements, but lead the way in creating meaningful solutions.”
