Eloise Mae Hondel Fidell, 98, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023. She was born on August 17, 1924, in Syracuse, NY to the late Cora Simmons Hondel and Edward Hondel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Fidell; daughter, Joyce E. Appel; sister, Beatrice Russell and two brothers, Edward, and Wayne Hondel.
Mrs. Fidell was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsville, VA.
She is survived by her son, William E. Fidell (Mary); daughter, Judith E. Allen; grandchildren, Jennifer Foster, Patrick Fidell, Brendan Fidell, Angela Appel, Jessica Appel, Michael Appel, and Kimberly Appel. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church or to King’s Grant Fellowship Fund.
