Elizabeth Ann Harris, 78, of Fieldale, VA passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at her home. She was born September 13, 1944, in Eden, NC to the late Ora D. Roberts and Thomas Lewis Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Harris and brother, Thomas Louie Roberts.
She is survived by her daughters, Penny Swinney (John), Pamela Akers (Tony), and Bonnie Patterson (Jeremiah); grandchildren, Christiana Campbell and Kayla Moran; and great-grandchildren, Aaron Campbell, Callie Moran, and Elizabeth Moran. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Fulp (Phillip) and brother, Gary Roberts (Deborah).
Mrs. Harris went to True Church of Jesus Christ where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She worked for Hooker Furniture for 20 years and retired there as an inspector. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Pastor Dwayne Fulp officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the funeral at Roselawn Burial Park.
