Eddie Glenn Naff, 90, of Bassett, Va. passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was born in Roanoke, Va. May 26, 1932, to Rudolph Calvert Naff, Sr. and Lillian Sue Doss Naff.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Helen Minter Naff; brothers, Clarence Naff and Freddie Naff.
He is survived by his son, Ronald B. Naff (Crystal); daughter, Glenda Naff Jaswal (Rajeev); grandchildren, Genna Crabtree, Travis Penn and Yash Jaswal; step-grandchildren, Ethan Greer, Abigail Greer, Morgan Wright and McKenzie Wright; sisters, Nola Turner, Lorene Hall, Rachel Wood, Viola Pearce and Judy Prillaman; brothers, R.C. Naff, Jr., David Naff and Bobby Naff.
Mr. Naff served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a renowned champion race car driver in the Sportsman Division at Franklin County Speedway. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and a Volkswagen restoration expert.
A visitation will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Mill Creek Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Mill Creek Baptist Church and will be officiated by Reverend David Naff.
