Patrick Henry Community College will be holding a Fab Lab Family Day from 10 a.m. until noon for participants to use the vinyl cutter to create custom-design stickers. The event is $15 per person.

Pop’s Farm will host The Yarn Picnic. This socially distanced concert will take place at the main stage amphitheater and feature a slew of awesome musicians! In addition, the event will feature on-site camping, great beer and libations, and food vendors. This will not be a pod show, but it will be a socially distanced show. Masks must be worn by all in attendance. Yarn will headline each night. In addition, other performers include James Justin Burke of “JJ & CO,” Lizzy Ross and Omar Ruiz Lopez, Joey Recchio & Ashley Sutton of “Big Daddy Love,” Soul Grind, Violet Bell, The Jared Stout Band and Heavy Peace. Patrick Henry Community College is hosting an Introduction to Arduino course on Thursdays from May 6-27. Students will learn to program an Arduino board to control everyday objects. The Patrick Henry Community College Board will hold a Special Called meeting via Zoom at 5 p.m., on May 3, May 5, May 10 and May 12.
