The City of Martinsville recently honored crew members in its Water Resources Department with a luncheon and tour for their efforts to address issues throughout the city after a water main break. Crews worked overnight to repair the break that occurred on June 21, and restore water service to residents.
After the luncheon, officials that included Mayor LC Jones, Vice Mayor Aaron Rawls and City Manager Aretha Ferrell-Benavides, toured the city’s Water Treatment Facilities.
