The Dan River Basin Association (DRBA) is working to install a new boardwalk and interpretive signs at the Great Road Access in Fieldale. Interpretive signs will include information about wildlife in the area and the importance of water quality. The project is expected to be completed by spring.
The access point is one of the main trout release locations for the Trout in the Classroom program. Students and the community will enjoy the project that Eastman Performance Films LLC helped to make possible.
