BASSETT, VA – A Henry County home is a total loss after an early morning fire.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. Tuesday at 196 Saddleridge Road in Bassett.
Henry County Assistant Fire Marshal Kiah Cooper tells BTW21 News one person was displaced and is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
Cooper said the fire started on the carport of the home.
