Albert Lawson, 90, of Henry, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Rocky Mount Health and Rehab, Rocky Mount, Virginia. He was born February 22, 1930 in Stuart, Virginia, to the late Nick Lawson and Lurinda Rakes Lawson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Catherine Spillman, and Bessie Armstrong; and brothers, Cecil Lawson and J. B. Lawson.
M. Lawson served in the United States Army and retired from work in 1992. He enjoyed setting on the couch and watching television.
Mr. Lawson is survived by hiswife, Lucy Clifton Lawson; daughter, Shelly Dawn Lawson Arden; sons Charles Leon Lawson and wife Lynn, and Roger Dale Lawson and wife Joan; sister, Susie Crowe; brothers, Harold Dean Lawson, Tom Lawson, Fred Lawson, Billy Lawson, and Bobby Lawson; grandchildren, Tiffany Case, and Bradley Lawson; and great grandchildren, Dylan Shaw, Cooper Lawson, and Conner Lawson.
Graveside services for Mr. Lawson will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 23, 2020, at Roselawn Burial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
