NILIT America, based in Henry County, is among 13 Virginia companies selected for the Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program.
Gov. Abigail Spanberger announced the newest VALET cohort this week. The two-year business acceleration program helps Virginia companies expand into international markets through export planning, market research, business development assistance and connections with overseas partners.
Since its launch in 2002, 453 Virginia companies have completed the program. According to the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, participating companies have averaged a 78% increase in international sales.
Nilit America was the only Henry County company selected for the newest cohort.
