The Town of Ridgeway will host a 4th of July Celebration and the 50th birthday of the Ridgeway Rescue Squad, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Featuring live music with The Legacy Motown Revue. Hamburgers and hot dogs/soft drinks/beer and wine will be available for purchase from the squad. Gina’s Seafood, and K & P Soul Food Delight will be onsite, as will inflatables, games and face painting. A series of four classes on genealogical research will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Bassett Historical Center on the first four Tuesdays in September (1, 8, 15, 22).
