Blue Ridge Regional Library is excited to kick-off our annual summer reading challenge on Monday, June 1. Readers of all ages—from toddlers to seniors—are invited to participate and discover the joy of reading.
To register, simply download the Beanstack app on your device or visit the library’s website www.brrl.lib.va.us and click our summer reading banner. Once registered, participants simply log the number of minutes read each day to earn badges and entries into prize drawings, which include an iPad, a Kindle Fire, and a variety of other great prizes. The more minutes read, the greater chances of winning!
The official kick-off to summer reading will take place on Friday, June 4th at 4 pm at Patrick & Henry Community College in Stone Hall. Science Heroes will return with interactive experiments and fun stories inspired by our theme, “Unearth a Story.”
The kick-off is free and open to the public.
Throughout the summer, Blue Ridge Regional Library will offer fun activities, programs, and events for all ages. Members of the community are encouraged to check out our website, follow our Facebook page, or visit their local branch for a calendar of events.
