Rotary Club of Martinsville-Henry County’s TGIF Concert Series returns for the 2026 season with a new home. This year’s signature series will bring live music, community connection, and summer entertainment to the Baldwin Building at New College Institute (soon to be West Piedmont Higher Education Center), offering attendees a fresh experience while continuing a beloved community tradition.

The Baldwin Building’s outdoor plaza offers more space to gather, relax, and enjoy evenings of live entertainment in a vibrant atmosphere. Organizers say the move allows for additional amenities, improved accessibility, and new opportunities for community engagement throughout the series.

“We’re thrilled to bring the TGIF Concert Series to its new home this year,” said Ryan Ware, president of Rotary Club of Martinsville-Henry County. “This new location allows us to grow the event experience while continuing to provide a fun, welcoming space for the community to enjoy live music together.”

“This concert series brings people together in such a meaningful way, and we look forward to hosting families, music lovers, and visitors all summer long,” said Joe Sumner, Executive Director of NCI.

Concerts will be held on the third Friday of the month, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and music starting at 7 p.m.

Slick Jr. & The Reactors are scheduled for July 17, sponsored by Sarver Properties.

Legendz Tribute Band is set to perform on August 21, sponsored by SOVAH Health.

Remedy finishes up the series on September 18, sponsored by Kissito Healthcare.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for an evening of music, food, and family-friendly fun. Hugo’s Restaurant & Sports Bar will sell food onsite, and Lawrence Distributing will provide beer sales.
