The Henry County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Interdiction Unit obtained a search warrant for a residence located at 119 Miles Road in Collinsville, following an investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics from the residence.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed the search warrant without incident on April 16. During the operation, deputies took 32-year-old Almonte Dillard into custody. Dillard was also wanted on a probation violation at the time of his arrest.
During the search of the residence, deputies located and seized a quantity of suspected cocaine. The substance will be submitted to the Virginia Department of Forensic Science for analysis.
This investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
