All Vets, a Henry County nonprofit, will debut the inaugural Henry County Veterans’ Honor Trail, a weeklong tribute to local living veteran heroes.

The display will feature more than 120 signs (18-by-24 inches) honoring veterans, including their name, photo, branch of service, and period of service. The signs will be placed along the trail at Jack Dalton Park, 130 Jack Dalton Road, Collinsville, from 9 a.m. on November 8 through November 16.

“This is a meaningful way to recognize our local heroes and bring the community together,” said All Vets founder S. Patrick Rodgers, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Henry County native. The nonprofit plans to make the display an annual tradition around Veterans Day, reusing existing signs and adding new ones each year.

Veterans and families from Henry County and Martinsville City can submit information via email or through the All Vets Facebook page. The organization funds the program through donations and annual fundraising initiatives. Submissions for the 2026 Honor Trail are now being accepted.

The trail display will coincide with All Vets’ monthly Walk-in-the-Park event, held on the second Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. at Jack Dalton Park. Participants of all ages and abilities can walk, roll, run, or ruck at their own pace. In November, the walk will be especially meaningful with veterans’ signs along the path.

All Vets was founded in August 2024 with the mission to “Honor the Fallen and Strengthen the Living.” The organization honors fallen heroes through annual events such as the Henry County Memorial Day Ruck and the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, while promoting physical and mental wellness in the community through partnerships and activities.
