The nomination process for the Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of Commerce’s 40 Under 40 feature has officially opened. The feature will be highlighted in the 2026 edition of the Discover MHC Magazine. This upcoming publication is a commemorative release honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States, with a strong focus on Martinsville-Henry County’s legacy, leadership, and future.
The 40 Under 40 initiative will recognize emerging professionals, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who are making an impact across the region. Individuals may be nominated by others or submit themselves for consideration.
“As our nation reflects on 250 years of progress, it is critical that we honor the history that shaped us while lifting up the individuals who will carry that legacy forward,” said chamber President Brenell Thomas. “The 40 Under 40 feature perfectly bridges the past and the future—celebrating tradition while showcasing the rising leaders who will define Martinsville-Henry County for the next generation.”
The annual Discover MHC Magazine will include special editorial features that highlight century-old businesses, community heritage, and Black business history alongside the 40 Under 40 honorees. Advertising opportunities are available for businesses and partners who wish to be featured in this milestone publication.
