Martinsville Sheriff’s Deputy Charles Creasy was selected as the Deputy of the Quarter.

Martinsville City Sheriff Steve Draper said Creasy was selected by the command staff.

Draper said Creasy was selected “because of the commitment he’s always given us … He’s always stepped up to the plate and been there for us. It’s a pleasure to be able to present this to him.”

Creasy, who was presented with a certificate of recognition and a number of other awards, said he has been employed at the sheriff’s office for 9 years.
