The Henry County Sheriff’s is currently investigating several recent larcenies from motor vehicles in the Chatmoss and Laurel Park communities. Authorities have received several reports from residents stating that items were stolen out of their unlocked vehicles parked in the driveway of their residence. Surveillance videos from residences in the neighborhood have caught images of potential suspects, who are seen wearing dark-colored clothing with head and face coverings.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at (276) 638-8751 or Crimestoppers at 63-CRIME (632-7463). The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards of up to $2,500 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
Authorities also reminded residents to lock their vehicles when not in use and to store all valuable items inside homes for safekeeping.
