COLLINSVILLE, VA – Virginia State Police is investigating a vehicle vs. pedestrian incident that resulted in a fatality on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to Virginia Avenue in front of the Dutch Inn around 8:40 pm after a male was struck by a vehicle.
State Police confirmed that the male was deceased upon their arrival and the reconstruction team was called to the scene.
At the current time, both northbound lanes of Virginia Avenue are closed.
