HENRY COUNTY, VA – A person was rescued Sunday evening in a swift-water rescue operation in Henry County.
At around 5:20 p.m., emergency services were called to the 1000 block of Meeks Road for a person in distress.
Once first responders arrived, they say they walked into the woods and found the patient along the Smith River on a rock.
