Judy Joyce Draper, 72, of Collinsville, VA, formerly of Mayodan, NC, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022. She was born July 3, 1949 in Martinsville, VA to the late Raymond Joyce and Hester Keith Joyce. She also was preceded by her brothers, Wayne Joyce and Danny Joyce.
Mrs. Draper worked for Mehler Engineering.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Robert Lee “Bobby” Draper, Jr.; children, Lisa H. McHone (Herbert) and Roger “Dean” Hurd (Shannon); step-daughter, Kelly Draper; and grandchildren, Darren McHone (Jordan), Daniel McHone (Maggie), Tiffanie Hurd (Jon), and Christopher Hurd (Brianna). She is also survived and preceded in death by her half brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Pastor Jerry Tedder officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Norris Funeral Services. Burial will be at Roselawn Burial Park.
