A state of emergency was declared in Henry County, according to a release from the county.
Henry County Administrator Tim Hall made the declaration at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 3. The declaration will allow the county to respond to multiple weather-related issues, including widespread power outages and worsening driving conditions, the release stated.
The declaration will remain in effect until it is removed by the Henry County Board of Supervisors.
