Martinsville 1752 used part of a Gratitude Grant to donate $1,000 to support the Virginia Conservation Police K-9 Unit. Handlers Howald and Blanks brought a black lab, Skye and a chocolate lab, Bruno to meet the group and Skye and Officer Howald demonstrated how the canine seeks gunpowder when looking for guns or bullets.
