Henry County Parks and Recreation will offer its Movie in the Park series this summer, with the first movie to be shown on Friday, June 25.
The featured film will be “The Karate Kid,” a movie that follows the character Daniel LaRusso, a teenager, taught karate by Mr. Miyagi to help defend himself and compete in a tournament against his bullies.
The popular Netflix show, “Cobra Kai,” follows the teenage stars of The Karate Kid as adults.
The Karate Kid is a must-see movie for anyone that is a Cobra Kai fan and is a great multi-generational movie and fun for the entire family.
The movie is shown next to the picnic shelter at Jack Dalton Park and admission is free.
Music and games will start at 7:30 p.m. and the movie will begin at 9 p.m.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
If the parking lot at Jack Dalton Park is full, movie goers may park in the parking lot at the Henry County Administration Building and access the park using the steps behind the administration building.
